The fruit

What is bergamot?+

Bergamot (Citrus bergamia) is a rare citrus that grows exclusively along the Ionian coast of Calabria, Italy. It is highly aromatic, faintly bitter, and prized for its unique flavonoid profile — the same fruit that gives Earl Grey tea its character.

Where is Bergosa made?+

Every bottle is grown, pressed and bottled in Calabria, Italy, within the P.D.O. (Protected Designation of Origin) bergamot zone. We never blend with bergamot from outside the region.

Is Bergosa organic?+

Yes. Certified organic by Ecogruppo Italia srl.

Ritual & wellness

How should I drink it?+

Chilled, ideally in a small glass at the start of the day. Many in our community drink it before training, after sauna, or as a refined mixer in evening cocktails.

Is it good for a wellness lifestyle?+

Bergamot is studied for its support of healthy cholesterol, circulation, and antioxidant activity. It is also alkalising and gentle on digestion. Bergosa is unsweetened, low-calorie, and made for daily ritual.

Is there added sugar?+

Never. Bergosa contains zero added sugar, sweeteners, concentrate or preservatives.

Is Bergosa pasteurized?+

Yes — gently. After cold-pressing we use a low-temperature HTST flash pasteurization (a few seconds at minimal heat) to ensure microbiological safety and shelf life without adding preservatives. Aroma, colour, vitamins and the bergamot polyphenols (BPF) are preserved. The juice is never made from concentrate and never heat-treated twice.
